Goals
Design Team
Ikram Faidzal was the supervisor for this project and managed more on the business side by holding meetings and gathering the requirements. I myself have been doing most of the design hands-on in order to deliver the design based on the estimated timeline. Other than that, I’ve been assigned to maintain the website UX from the data collected.
Methodology
During brainstorming sessions with stakeholders, product owner, and product manager, we used a lot of rapid paper sketching to understand on how the structure and the business rules.
Research
In order to have the best browsing experience for our users, we collect some data to understand our user behavior and what does the user really want. From this analysis we can know what area we need to improve in terms of user experience. Tools that we used are HotJar to see user heatmaps and Google Analytics to see user behaviour.
Summarization of our research
70% of our user are mobile user. So, we need to prioritize mobile design first when designing anything.
Most of our user loves to scroll down the website to see the contents, the first fold term doesn’t really applies to our users.
Almost all our user didn’t like horizontal scolling. They prefer vertical scrolling.
The hierarchy of buttons really important, the types of buttons to be used are one of the reasons why users are dropping off. Up to 85% user accidentally clicked on unsubscribed since we used primary button before, but now we’ve used text button and see a huge improvement in business side
